Clinic Santa Sofía in Caracas obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification

The Clinic Santa Sofía obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 Certification in the Laboratory, strengthening the quality of the processes routinely carried out in this key service, for the diagnosis and follow-up of patients’ evolution.

Santa Sofia Clinic is one of the first in the country to obtain this quality badge in its laboratory. Dr. Germán Cortez, president of this care center, said: “This certification represents our commitment to continuous improvement and the quality of the services we offer to the patient, which allows us to differentiate ourselves in the midst of a complex health environment for all the Venezuelans. That is why we intend to extend this certification to other key areas of the operation, overcoming the difficulties that arise, to continue driving total quality in the care provided to the patient. ”

The challenge assumed by the Clinic since 2013 consolidated the modification, adaptation and expansion of the areas of the Laboratory, as well as the investigation and application of corrective measures, reducing waiting times in patient care and offering clinical analyzes with the Quality control required, in view of the migration of some technologies necessary to guarantee the provision of the service.

QSI America can contribute to the growth and development of its clients by offering training, auditing and certification services in order to fulfill their expectations.
