This is a 24-hour course for anyone interested in understanding the latest ISO 19011 guidelines and corresponding techniques for conducting Management System Audits to determine if an organization’s policies, procedures and practices conform to the requirements of the standard. The first 12 hours of this course covers theoretical fundamentals should be completed on-line.

The course material for the Auditor Course for each of the standards follows the same structure and is divided into different sessions as follows:

Session A1 – Fundamentals of Auditing– Lecture (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A2 – Audit Initiation, Planning and Preparation – Lecture (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A3 – Audit Realization – Lecture (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A4 – Management System Documentation – Lecture (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A5 – Document Review / Stage 1 Audit Simulation – Workshop (Specific to ISO XXXXX)

Session A6 – Developing and Presenting the Audit Plan – Workshop (Specific to ISO XXXXX)

Session A7 – Developing the Audit Checklist (Specific to ISO XXXXX)

Session A8 – Audit Findings – Lecture (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A9 – Conducting the Opening Meeting – Workshop (General approach applicable for all standards)

Session A10 – Audit Situations / Stage 2 Audit Simulation – Workshop (Specific to ISO XXXXX)

Students wishing to obtain a trained AUDITOR certificate for more than one standard are required to complete 10 additional hours for each additional standard for which to be certified in. These additional 10 hours of training include participation in the ISO Management System Fundamentals course for the additional standard, plus a 2 hour auditing assignment/case study specific to the additional standard.

Teaching Methodology

Our methodology is practical and is based on the analysis of actual cases allowing the participant to obtain an appropriate balance of theory and practice, thereby facilitating learning and performance.

 

Workshops

This course includes supporting materials and interactive workshops that help students achieve the learning objectives. The students must purchase the standards at www.iso.ch prior to attending the course.

 

ISO 19011 AUDITOR CERTIFICATE OF SUCCESFUL COMPLETION

This course includes the 8-hour “Fundamentals” and a 4 hour ISO 19011 module which should be completed online prior to attending the 1.5 day audit skills development workshop portion. In order to obtain the “Certificate of Successful Completion”, the participant should:

A. Pass the continuous evaluation attending the on site sessions and completing the workshops in the defined time.

B. Pass the final test with a minimum of 70%

*Those who do not pass the exam also have the option of re-taking the exam for a nominal fee of US$100 (plus travel expenses, if applicable).
